Cost questions

What finance teams ask us

How is the fee set?+
We charge from USD 560 for every employee on the Swedish payroll each month, roughly SEK 5,550 using European Central Bank rates for 24 Sep 2026. It pays for our service only. Salary and statutory costs sit outside it at cost, so the fee does not move when pay or contribution rates change.
Is the fee tied to the SEK salary?+
No. The fee does not move with the salary whether the monthly salary is SEK 35,000 or SEK 90,000. Arbetsgivaravgifter behave differently: they are a percentage of gross pay with no upper limit, so they rise with every pay increase and bonus.
How much do arbetsgivaravgifter add in 2026?+
The standard rate is 31.42% of gross pay and taxable benefits, set by Skatteverket, with no ceiling. Staff born 2003 to 2007 have a 20.81% rate on pay up to SEK 25,000 a month between 1 April 2026 and 30 September 2027. For staff aged 67 or over only the 10.21% pension contribution applies. For someone earning SEK 50,000 monthly, the standard rate adds SEK 188,520 a year.
Which lines pass at cost?+
Gross salary, arbetsgivaravgifter, any ITP1 pension with its 24.26% särskild löneskatt, collective-agreement insurance, benefits you approve and agreed expenses. For a SEK 50,000 monthly salary, pay, contributions and ITP1 come to SEK 822,070 a year before our fee.
Which currencies can we pay in?+
The fee is set in US dollars, while salary and Swedish statutory costs arise in SEK. Tell us the currency your finance team prefers and we will confirm in the quote whether the invoice can be issued in it and which exchange rate applies.
Is there a minimum term? How do exits work?+
The fee is charged month by month while the person is employed. Ending an employment follows LAS: the employer gives 1 month’s notice under 2 years’ service, rising in steps to 6 months after 10 years, and the employee gives 1 month. A dismissal needs sakliga skäl. Offboarding covers the final salary, semesterersättning for unused leave and the last AGI return to Skatteverket.
